MTP U R RS and MTP U R RS SEQ Connection and Operation

Rear Panel Conections

1. Connect the TP cable from an MTP

transmitter to the RJ-45 input connector.

2. Connect a display device to any of the video

output connectors as follows:

15-pin HD for RGB or component video

4-pin mini DIN for S-video

BNC for composite video

3. Connect a display device to the 5-pin captive

screw connector for RS-232 control.

4. Connect the power supply.

Front Panel Operation

Power LED — Lights green when power is present.

Signal LEDs — The MTP U R A auto detects

the input signal type (video, Y/C, YUV or RGB)

carried on the RJ-45 from the transmitter.

The corresponding LED lights green to indicate

the signal type present.

Skew Equalization (SEQ model only) —

To compensate for skew (signal delay) caused by

different cable lengths, press the recessed button

to select the red, green, or blue signal.

The corresponding LED lights. Adjust the knob

until the signal is equalized. Repeat as needed.

Level, Peaking — Adjust the Level knob for

brightness and the Peaking knob for sharpness.
