The Extron VYC 100 composite video to S-video decoder and
YCV 100 S-video to composite video encoder are high performance
and economical VersaTools
™
products that provide signal conversion
solutions. The VYC 100 and YCV 100 function as alternatives for
application-specific environments where the source signals are either
decoded from composite video to S-video or encoded from S-video to
composite video.
The VYC 100 is a composite video to S-video decoder that decodes or
separates an incoming composite video signal on a female BNC
connector, and outputs it as two simultaneous S-video signals on a 4-
pin mini DIN connector and two female BNC connectors for the luma
(Y) and chroma (C) signals.
The YCV 100 is an S-video to composite video encoder that encodes an
incoming S-video signal on a 4-pin mini DIN connector or two female
BNC connectors for the luma (Y) and chroma (C) signals, and outputs
it as a composite video signal on a female BNC connector.

■ Uses digital three-line adaptive comb filter (VYC 100 only)
