Live View Settings Page
The Live View Settings page is accessed by clicking on the Live View Settings link on
the left sidebar of the Configuration page (see figure 74).

The Live View Settings page is used to configure how a stream is viewed on the Live View
page. Available configuration options include media player selection (SMP, VLC media player
or QuickTime), toolbar settings, and live view page timeout settings.
NOTES:
• The SME100 requires an installed media player to view streams on the Live View
page. For information on installing media players,
see the "Installing Media Players" section on page 51.
• The Extron SMP plugin (version 1.0) provides the best player performance and is
recommended for viewing live streaming media on the SME100.
• After all necessary changes have been made to the configuration options in the
following panels, click the Submit button to save the configuration settings. Clicking
the Cancel button or navigating to a different web page clears any changes that
were made.
• For information on using the HTML code in the Embed VLC / SMP / QuickTime panel,
see the "Embedding the SME100 Stream" section on page 101.
