6. The QuickTime media player appears. From the File menu, select Open URL
(see figure 112).

7. The Open URL window appears. In the Enter an Internet URL to open field, enter
the stream URL that was noted in step 4 of this procedure (see figure 111 on previous
page and figure 113).

8. Click OK (see figure 113). After a few seconds, the media streaming from the SME100
is played on the QuickTime media player.
NOTES:
• If QuickTime media player fails to play the stream:
1. From the QuickTime player menu, select Edit > Preferences >
QuickTime Preferences.
2. Click the Advanced tab and select Safe mode (GDI only).
3. Click Apply, then OK to save the settings.
4. Close the player window and do this procedure again.
• The QuickTime media player image settings can now be changed if desired.
• The QuickTime media player will not display closed caption information.
