
3. Click on the Browse button and use the file browser to navigate to the location where
the firmware file was saved. Select the file and click Open.
ATTENTION: The extension of the firmware file must be .eff or .efs. Opening a file
with an incorrect extension may cause the SME100 to stop functioning.
4. Click the Upload button (located next to the Browse button). The Firmware Upgrade
page shows the progress of the installation and the LCD screen on the front panel of
the SME100 says Upgrading Firmware while the firmware is being installed. The
firmware upgrade takes a few minutes to install.
5. After the firmware is properly installed, the SME100 reboots, initializes the upgraded
firmware, and starts to refresh the web-based user interface. The firmware installation is
complete when the Live View page is automatically loaded on the web browser.
